M+B studio was constituted by Daniela Iride Murgia and Troels Bruun. Troels is trained as an architect and interior designer in Denmark and Italy. The office has been operative since 1999. Before this date, from 1995, Troels worked in Venice, mainly on restoration projects and exhibitions, often as coordinator and supervisor of national pavilions and collateral events within the framework of the Venice Biennial. Apart from her work in the studio, Daniela is also active as an illustrator.

The office has been undertaking a variety of tasks over the years. Some exhibitions and installations have been designed and programmed by the office, others have been developed in collaboration with artist, architects and curators, and often the task has been to execute a scheme developed abroad to be executed in Venice.

The office and its team of architects deal with project management and facility management, and undertake the annual maintenance and restoration of pavilions at the Giardini, Venice Biennal, amongst these, Denmark, Austria, Canada and Greece.
